Profit & Loss

How much money did I make?

Know which product actually makes money — not just what the account total says.

At the end of the month you know what landed in your bank account. You do not know which of your products put it there. Amazon takes its cut in dozens of separate line items, spread across weeks, so by the time everything settles nobody can say whether the product you are about to reorder earns money or quietly eats it.

What we do about it

  • We take every transaction Amazon records for your account and attach it to the product and the day it belongs to.
  • Each product carries its own referral fee, fulfilment fee, refunds and ad spend — so you get profit per product, not one deduction total for the whole account.
  • The charges Amazon bills to the account rather than to the item — storage, promotions, reimbursements — are shown for the period on their own cards. They are in your result without being guessed onto a product.
  • Your own costs go in too: what you paid the factory, freight, what you spend outside Amazon. Pick any period and put what you planned next to what actually happened.
Profit by product for one month: revenue, Amazon's cut, your costs, what is left.

A real moment

A seller opens the month expecting their best-selling product to be their best-earning one. It is not. That product sits third: it is bulky, so fulfilment takes a bigger bite, and it carries the heaviest ad spend. The fourth product on the list — half the revenue, a fraction of the fees — is the one paying the bills. None of that is visible from a sales report.

A composite scenario, drawn from patterns we see repeatedly — not a named customer's result.
